Learn more about Operation Wipe Out and meet some of the personalities behind the United States’ first statewide effort to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health threat in this new video produced by Rocket Camp.
This video – commissioned by the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) – highlights Operation Wipe Out and its driving force: the rich partnerships between public health leaders at the Alabama Department of Public Health, federally qualified health centers including Circle of Life, researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, advocacy organizations including TogetHER for Health, and civic organizations like the Rotary Club of Birmingham, Alabama. Each of these partners represent the best and brightest of their communities, and each has a role and contribution to make in the fight against HPV and cervical cancer.
